Midsummer at the Threshold
The vault is open. Free and 99¢ across every genre, only until Sunday.
Darklings,
Midsummer has always been a threshold. The longest day, the thinnest light, the hour when the door between what we know and what we don’t stands just slightly ajar.
So we propped it the rest of the way open.
From now through Sunday, the Darkling Collective has gathered more than sixty books into a single vault — every one of them free or 99¢. Dark fantasy, romance, horror, mystery, the strange and the tender and the things that bite. A curated collection across every genre, conjured for the solstice and gone the moment it ends.
This is the weekend to be greedy. Fill the reader. Hoard the magic. Find the next book that keeps you up past the dark.
The door closes when the sun sets Sunday, June 21. After that, the prices go back to ordinary — and ordinary is so much less interesting.
And when the vault closes? The Collective keeps a quieter door open all year. The Sanctum is a curated repository you can wander by trope and by shadow — enemies-to-lovers, morally grey, monster romance, slow burn — whenever you need your next obsession. When you’ve finished raiding the blast, go poke around in there.
Thank you, as always, for being here.
